- first diesel locomotive to be built with the standard line car-body
- built with 12-1/2" x 15-1/2" 6 cylinder VO engine
later re-engined with standard bore 12-3/4" x 15-1/2" 6 cylinder VO engine
- served at Eddystone until the BLH merger in 1950
- moved to the BLH Lima Division, Lima, Ohio, served until plant sold in 1966
