Baldwin Motive Power for Freight Service This four page ad dates from at least 1945. The front page shares the same illustration of Seaboard 4500, the first DR12-8-3000 built, as the NEW 3000 hp DIESEL ELECTRIC to speed grapefruit to your table ad. Seaboard 4500 was the first 600-series powered (twin 608SC) unit built. The last page features Ferrocarriles Nacionales De Mexico 6000 Only three units were built of this model referred to by Baldwin as the "0-6-6-0 1000/2 DE". The last VO powered (twin 8 cylinder) units build. Two demonstrators were built 2000 & 2001, after being delivered to NdeM they ordered a thrid unit #6003.
