Great Plains Railway & Museum of the American Railroad


The Colorado & Wyoming was an original owner, it acquired three VO1000s new from Baldwin:

The Colorado & Wyoming purchased VO1000 numbers 1107, 1108 & 1109 new. They acquired 1106 from the US War Department about 1970. The 1106, 1107 & 1109 went to the Great Plains Railway in 1974. The 1107 went to Western RR in 1975, it is now at the Museum of the American Railroad, formally named the Age of Steam Railroad Museum.
