This unit was used at USS Fairless Works and was moved off the property around 1983. It and some of the EMDs were purchased by a company called Locomotive Trouble Shooters (LTS) then were leased back to USS. It was then repainted, CR-like blue, and leased to 3 different railroads all less than 5 miles from the steel mill. It has recently purchased from LTS by Pete DeFillipo of Woodbridge NJ.
