Jan 12, 2005 - GM Agrees To Sell Electro-Motive Division.
GM has also sold its interest in Locomotive Leasing Partners (LLPX) to GATX.
This puts General Motors completely out of the railroad equipment business for the
first time since it purchased Electro Motive Corporation and Winton Engine in 1930.
