- built for LS&BC as #8

"LS&BC 8 sat at Blue Island, IL on the CRL after the LS&BC shut down the Central IL line, and then I saw it being moved by Chicago Rail Link SW1500's to the SCA Yard at Lake Calumet. From there I thought it might become scrap but apparently they breathed new life into the old girl, and used it until they got the SW8 (MM2) from Amtrak and the 8 disappeared...probably cut up in the very yard she had switched."
