From February 1959 to March 1960 MKT sent its entire fleet of eleven DS4-4-1000's to EMD to have their
8 cylinder normally aspirated Baldwin engines replaced by 1000 hp, twelve cylinder, EMD 567C engines.
In the 1960 the DS4-4-1000's, numbers 1000-1010, were renumbered 22-32. |
